    Terms & Conditions

    When you make a reservation through this website, you agree to the TERMS AND CONDITIONS stated on these pages. You must read and agree to them before booking your hotel room, rental car, flight, transfer or any available option. Once a reservation has been made, the following  terms and conditions will go into effect.


    Final Payment

    Payment for your reservation should be made immediately on the web site. Once your request is confirmed, we will proceed to charge the amount indicated  in the confirmation e-mail sent to you .



    Insurance

    We recommend that all passengers purchase travel insurance at the time of booking since www.booktocuba.com  does not take responsibility for health problems, unforeseen circumstances that travelers may incur, or damaged or lost baggage.


    Cancellations

    In case of cancellations, please, notify us immediately. Charges will be set on the basis of the cancellation date received by www.booktocuba.com  and are applied to all products you have reserved. Read the TERMS AND CONDITIONS for each product.


    www.booktocuba.com reserves the right to resell the cancelled capacities.


    If we receive your written notification to cancel prior to 15 days before departure, your deposit will be forfeited. However, from 15 days onwards the following cancellation charges will apply. Certain travel arrangements cannot be changed after reservations have been made and any request for alteration will be treated as a cancellation.


    - 14 to 8 days prior to pick up date: 5% charge

    -   7 to 3 days prior to pick up date: 15% charge

    - from 2 days prior to pick up date: 50% charge


    We will not pay compensation for changes made because of war or threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics or health risks, technical problems with transport including mechanical and weather reasons, government  action, closed or congested airports, and similar events beyond our control.


    Reimbursements

    All reimbursements will be effective 30 days after the date of execution of the original reservation.


    Changes Requested by the Client

    Any change requested by the client might be subject to a cancellation penalty. All changes are subject to the rates of the new dates or car class booked as per the original date of reservation. If a reservation is changed more than once then we  reserve the right to increase the administration fees.


    Indicated Pricing

    All rates are shown in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change published prices without prior notice or to pass on government imposed taxes, transportation related fees or surcharges including but not limited to those for fuel price fluctuations and currency surcharges to the travelers. In the event that we decrease pricing, the revised rates are valid on new bookings only. Previously reduced rates may increase without notice, and will be valid on new bookings only.


    Documentation

    It is the traveler's responsibility to obtain, at his/her own expense, all documentation required by the relevant authorities. 

    Customs, airlines and immigration officials may deny a traveler's entry in or exit from their country for any circumstances. 

    We cannot be held responsible and will not refund any money. It is also the traveler's responsibility to obtain the relevant information for traveling included but not limited to schedules, airlines and hotels.


    Car models and categories

    The category of the cars has been rated in accordance with the normal standard of the destination and could be different from the standard in other countries.


    Hotel check-in and check-out hours

    Check-in at all published hotels is from 16:00 hours onwards, unless otherwise stated. Check-out time is at 12:00 hours.


    Description and Representation

    All information and pictures contained in our brochure have been checked for accuracy. However, since these are descriptive only, we cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen change or loss of enjoyment. All photographs of hotels, cars and sites are published as illustrations only. Car models within a category may vary according to availability.


    Force Majeure

    We cannot be held liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, expenses, delays or loss of enjoyment, of any nature or kind whatsoever, to the traveler and/or traveling companions or group members, resulting from events beyond our's or a supplier's control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, lockouts or other labor disputes or disruptions, wars, blockades, insurrections, riots, earthquakes, weather conditions, floods, or acts or restraints imposed by government authorities.


    Unused Services

    We will not be responsible for any unused portions of your trip or tour services and will not refund any money. 

    Failure to redeem the tour components as per the pre-arranged times may result in the loss of that tour component and no money will be refunded. We cannot be held responsible for any activities or optional tours sold locally if we  have not been the provider of such services.


    Special Requests

    We will guarantee car category but not car models, which are subject to availability.


    Pick-ups and Drop-offs

    You should drop off the car at the same hour it was picked up, otherwise penalties may apply for every hour delayed. There are supplements also for dropping off the car at a different rental point from where it was picked up.


    Specials

    All applicable promotions must be reserved or requested at time of booking.


    Traveller´s Responsibilities

    The traveler agrees to adhere to the rules and laws of the country he/she is visiting. Should the traveler conduct him/herself  in a manner threatening to the supplier and/or other passenger(s), the supplier has the right to refuse service or expel him/her from the hotel. In this event, the traveler is responsible for all costs and no refund will be issued for any unused  portions.


    Tour Operator Responsibilities

    We make arrangements with independent companies and is not responsible for any acts or omissions on their behalf.  We shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury whether physical or mental, or to property, resulting from any delay, substitution or deficiency of quality of equipment or service, or any act, omission, negligence or commission of any party supplying any of the services herein. We reserve the right to refuse any booking and refuse any passenger as a member of these tours at any time. No representative of any company is authorized to change or override the contract once a reservation is booked.
